Successful Festive Marketing | Christmas 2021 Edition

Sell Your Christmas Range to More Shops & Consumers in 2021

Successful Festive Marketing

The festive season is big in the card & gift world.

It’s known as “the golden quarter” aka the most profitable time of year!

With that comes great opportunities… and a fair amount of challenges.

Christmas preparation takes months. And what a lot of people don’t realise is that big retailers, such as department stores and chains, as well as supermarkets, and prestige stores like Harrods and Selfridges can start that festive preparation as soon as one Christmas is complete.

While most of us are putting together our resolutions the major retailers are putting together their next Christmas plans.

This means if you want to be in with a chance of supplying those retailers with your lovely cards & gifts you need to start your preparation ASAP.

Luckily, now is the very best time to start your Christmas 2021 planning.

Right now you have an amazing opportunity to collect market information that will be gone in January.

This information will give you an edge when promoting to retail buyers, and not just for the big stores. Using market information to personalise your pitch, works for shops of any size, anywhere.

If your ambition for 2021 is to see your products in more stores. If you want to stock prestige shops that can get your brand the attention it deserves, you’re in the right place.

Finding out how a company promotes Christmas gives you the insight you need to successfully pitch your products.

Over the last 18 years I’ve promoted thousands of products for the Christmas season to millions of festive shoppers, so I know that marketing Christmas isn’t easy.

The one thing that makes a difference is having a plan.

Winging it and hoping for the best will get you some orders, but the right plan could improve your results significantly.

A plan also ensures that you take advantage of every opportunity the Christmas season presents.

That’s why, I’m delighted to share with you, my Step-by-Step Guide to Successful Festive Marketing.

Starting the week commencing 30th November, I will guide you (step-by-step) though 5 phases of planning and promotion to sell your Christmas products to retailers and consumers.

1

PHASE ONE (November 2020 – January 2021)

Create a wishlist of retailers you want to supply in 2021 and learn techniques you can use to research their Christmas needs and strategy. Giving you all the information you need to pitch your products in 2021.

Successful Festive Marketing

Hi, my name is Charlotte and for over 18 years I’ve been planning and promoting Christmas products to both retailers and consumers.

My first 6+ years in the industry I worked for an independent card & gift designer, selling to both trade buyers and consumers.

And for the last 11 years I’ve been running Card & Gift Network, showcasing hundreds of businesses and thousands of products to a global audience of retailers and consumers.

With experience working directly in the trade and on the press side of things, I’m uniquely placed to guide you through promoting your Christmas collection to trade, press and consumers.

Giving you the best possible chance to reach more people, promote more and sell more.
